5k and 1mile remembrance walk/run 
September 14th 2013
Lindon, Utah
5k starts @ (:00am


What the race will entail:
*A fire truck at the end spraying down the finishers.
*A box to donate and receive old and new life jackets.
*Fruit and muffins at the finish line along with plenty of water.
*Every race entry will receive one entry into the raffle.
*Red Cross will have a booth on water safety with info and hand-outs.


Please help us save lives through our water event!
***We teamed up with People Water and all proceeds go to building a clean water well to those who otherwise wouldn't have access***

March 22nd....is  

WORLD WATER DAY.

Ok weird.

My brother CODY JAMES is totally involved in saving lives, by building wells to provide clean WATER with his company (read more about them here) PEOPLE WATER. Dirty water is killing people. Clean water can and will save lives.

Ok. Weird again.

Ollie's accident was in water the day after WORLD WATER DAY.

Water water water. I am surrounded with water.

No Coincidence that Cody is saving lives with water and that I am also trying to save lives from a water hazard.

WATER CAN TAKE A LIFE.  BUT CLEAN WATER CAN SAVE A LIFE.

People Water

Water. 

It covers 71% of the earths surface, and is vital for all known forms of LIFE. 
We can not survive without it.

*On Earth, 96.5% of the planet's water makes up the oceans.
*3.575 million people die each year from water related diseases. 
*An average well provides 1,000 liters of water per day. Over a 10-year period, 
that's over 3 million liters of clean water.
*Half of the hospital beds in the world are occupied by patients suffering from diseases associated with lack of access to safe drinking water, inadequate sanitation and poor hygiene.

  Most of us cant imagine going a day without water or even a couple of hours. All through out the world children, precious innocent children, who didn't have any choice being born into those circumstances, are without clean drinking water. Yes, they have water but it is awful and filthy. Clean water would provide these people a chance to live on this earth and possibly be happy.

WATER IS LIFE. GIVE A LIFE. GIVE WATER.

On the other hand water takes life away as it did with my sweet Ollie's life.  He was in water too long and this breaks my heart so I am trying to focus on giving life to others. I can do this by spreading the word and supporting a cause who gives life by building wells for access to clean water.
I know so many of you support me and you can help more by supporting the lives that are still here upon this earth, struggling to survive due to lack of clean water. Please, Please, Please help their cause


My brother, CODY BARKER, is the founder, and has shared several touching stories of him personally fixing the wells and how it has drastically changed his life for the better, to be able to provide clean drinking water to so many. They have  a wonderful team who is dedicated to helping others while making this world a better place one bottle at a time.
